B.Sc. Nursing

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB.B.Sc. Nursing)

This course builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and provides advanced learning in medical-surgical nursing, community health, pediatric nursing, and mental health nursing. This course serves as a stepping stone for nurses looking to pursue M.Sc. Nursing or specialized healthcare roles.

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility:

To hold GNM and to be registered Nurse. The nurse should have minimum of two years experience.


M.Sc. Nursing

The Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) is a two-year postgraduate program that offers specialized education in various nursing fields, including Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Community Health, and Psychiatric Nursing. This program focuses on research, advanced clinical skills, and healthcare leadership, preparing students for high-level roles in hospitals, nursing colleges, research centers, and healthcare organizations. With a strong emphasis on critical thinking, patient-centered care, and policy-making, graduates can pursue careers as nurse educators, clinical specialists, nurse administrators, or researchers, contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession.

Eligibility:

One Year Experience after BSc Nursing. Minimum 50% Aggregate in BSc Nursing


General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Nursing

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program is a three-year diploma course that prepares students for a professional career in nursing and midwifery. The course covers essential topics such as anatomy, physiology, maternal and child health, medical-surgical nursing, and community healthcare. Through extensive clinical training and hands-on experience, students develop the skills needed to provide compassionate and efficient patient care. GNM graduates can work in hospitals, maternity centers, community health services, and rehabilitation centers, or they can pursue higher education such as B.Sc. Nursing for career advancement.

Eligibility:

10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

10 +2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/State/Centre

Registered ANM with pass mark.
